Collection: 365 days of The monopoly of sadness

365 Days of The Monopoly of Sadness is an art event that began on January 1, 2026, and will conclude on December 31, 2026. One artwork per day for an entire year. A daily ritual that transforms time into art.

All artworks depict The Monopoly of Sadness, a symbolic and emotional universe narrated through the ritualistic repetition of an essential and expressionistic drawing. Each Monopoly of Sadness is a unique creation born from an instinctive, never identical gesture.

Symbolism

The drawing is an allegory of a universal original genesis, transposed into a symbolic and emotional dimension. Two hands, symbols of the creator, reach upwards but remain suspended. The action is blocked by the birth of an illusion, created by the ego in the process of self-fragmentation generated by stressful or traumatic experiences that create shame and a sense of powerlessness. From the hands emerge eyes, symbols of consciousness and self-awareness. Tears fall into the circles of water at the base of the hands, which represent the primordial waters of creation. These waters make visible an already existing cycle, but initially hidden. The lines come together to form a face that emits a scream. As in most ancient traditions, in this contemporary symbolic context too, sound plays the role of primordial vibration and creative force from which an individual's emotional universe originates.

The Artworks

365 unique artworks, one for each day of the year, each linked to its day of creation with the date integrated. Each piece is made with different material and stylistic approaches. The daily creative process is documented on social media through video material and includes collaborations.

The Music

The Monopoly of Sadness is also linked to music, being accompanied by a precise soundtrack that will compose a large playlist of 365 different songs, largely belonging to extreme musical genres, but also featuring many sophisticated and introspective tracks. The playlist, updated periodically, can be listened to on Spotify and Demus.

Sales

The prices of the artworks conceptually follow the cycle of the event, increasing by one euro per day, starting from 1 euro up to 365.
